Four and a half million Americans from the West Coast, from the states of California, Washington and Oregon, are interested in traveling to Costa Rica, according to a 2017 study by Travel Styles for the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT).
This year San José, the capital of Costa Rica, was ranked 6th of the World’s Top Destinations “on the rise”, announced by the travel site Tripadvisor and according to the 2018 Travelers’ Choice awards. San José is also the only city in Latin America that appears on the list.
